A dramatic gown whose startling design is softened by the choice of a beautiful silk taffeta fabric. Constructed from a stunning watercolor washed array of soft pastels on a white backdrop. Soft pinks, greens and yellows give the impression of a painted watercolor and cover the gown from bust to hem. It is cut to skim the body and hug the upper torso. The strapless top is lightly boned inside for support and the waist cinches in and then it widens in a gentle A-line with a front side slit. The ruffle that cascades from the bust down the side to the floor gives the impression that the wearer has been wrapped and presented like a precious gift.
